commentary on London

London is a poesy scripted in the stratum 1794 by William Blake. In this commentary I will go bad the verse form I will comment on the engage of structure, tone, images and other stylistic devices and how the poet uses these elements to communicate his purpose. The rime exists of 4 stanzas and it contains 15 verses. Blake uses the rhyme scheme A B A B. For example, path rhymes with meet and flow rhymes with woe. Furthermore, Blake uses enjambment, which means that one metre continues over two or more verses. The tone of the poem is very melancholic and depressive. He dislikes the commercial meanings the Industrial Revolution has. He thinks that a Church should bring light in dark times.
